We had a lovely family and a friend from the Philippines. We started Wakayama city at 7:30 a.m. heading for Koyasan by mini van, and arrived at Daimon, the entrance to Koyasan at 8:45. We spent about 4 hours in Koyasan exploring Okuno-in and Garan complex learning about Koyasan. Then we returned to Wakayama city and visited Kuroshio Ichiba fish market in Wakayama Marina City to have late lunch and to see Tuna Cutting show. After enjoying watching Tuna cutting show and doing some shoppings there, we moved to Saikazai in Wakanoura area. We walked narrow path between the adjacent houses down to a fishing port. And we went back to the hotel. The tour finished at 5:00 p.m.

Meal and tea are offered to Kobo Daishi at Mausoleum everyday. It is held twice a day, at 6:00 and 10:30 in the morning.

Enjoyed rotating the Rokkaku Kyodo. If you rotate it once, you are supposed to read all the scrolls of sutras inside it.

It is held three times daily, at 11:00, 12:30 and 15:00.

You can find any Wakayama specialty such as soy sauce, ramen, plum wine, Japanese Sake and others.

Enjoyed walking between adjacent houses in Saikazaki
