Ojizo-sama at Okuno-in, Koyasan
Many jizos are sitting peacefully in the snow along the path to the mausoleum of Kobo Daishi in Okuno-in. They are welcoming you there and will comfort you in the cold winter. We call jizo o-jizo-sama to show our respect to jizo.
