Spring flowers in Japan (3) Sumono (すもも）

This looks like sakura cherry blossoms but it’s not. It’s called sumomo in Japanese, a type of plum trees, and its flowers are in full bloom in Japan now. Tasty sumomo fruits are available to eat in about July. Katsuragi-cho, Wakayama, Japan
